Itoshima Handmade Carnival '2026 in Autumn

About this event

A celebration of handmade crafts held in Itoshima City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Kyushu, bringing together more than 120 artisans from all across Japan. A wide array of one-of-a-kind items available only here will be lined up, including popular fabric, woodworking, and leather crafts, as well as knitting, dyeing, accessories, and unique miscellaneous goods. An "Itoshima Gift Area" exclusive to the autumn edition will also appear, making it ideal for souvenir hunting. In the "Gourmet Area," popular Itoshima shops and eateries using Itoshima-grown ingredients will open stalls, allowing you to savor delicious food. Additionally, in the "Workshop Area," you can not only view handcrafted works but also enjoy hands-on crafting experiences. The venue is the Shima Chuo Park Promenade, where you can fully appreciate the nature of Itoshima; on sunny days, strolling around the handmade creations while having a picnic is also recommended. The event is packed with activities that both children and adults can enjoy all day, such as a stamp rally, test-riding Japan Self-Defense Forces vehicles, and a knit picnic.
