The 3rd Ocean Breeze Genkai / Path of Light Walk

Held in Shingu Town, Fukuoka Prefecture, the 'The 3rd Ocean Breeze Genkai / Path of Light Walk' is a walking event that tours locations in Genkai Quasi-National Park with its beautiful coastlines and pine groves. With JR Shingu-Chuo Station as the meeting and disbanding point, participants will walk an approximately 25 km course with an estimated time of about 7 hours. The course visits views of the Genkai Sea, the abandoned Nishitetsu Kaizuka Line railway tracks, and Miyajidake Shrine known as a spiritual spot. Highlights include walking along the Minato River, Shingu Coast, Tate no Matsubara pine grove, Shingu Shrine, the abandoned Nishitetsu Miyajidake Line railway tracks, Hanazurugahama Park, and the Tourist Information Center @ Path of Light. This event provides an opportunity to fully enjoy the charm of Shingu Town, where rich nature and city harmonize. For advance reservations, the participation fee is 1,500 yen + service fee for online booking, and 2,000 yen for telephone booking. The participation fee includes a certificate of completion, refreshments, a bib number, a course map, a commemorative gift, and insurance. The capacity is 100 people.
