Summer Experience Event: Kawasaki Town Flowing Somen Festival in De-Ai, Fukuoka Prefecture

This summer, why not savor the season with authentic "Bamboo Nagashi Somen" (flowing somen noodles)? Catching flowing noodles skillfully brings smiles as you exchange glances with those beside you. It is a hands-on participatory event where children and adults can enjoy together across generations and communities! Furthermore, this edition features special concurrent events: complimentary servings of locally grown seasonal Kosui pears from Kawasaki Town, and a refreshing "Apple Vinegar Tasting Experience"! You can fully enjoy local seasonal and healthy flavors. Create special summer memories together in a warm venue where natural conversations spark! Held indoors, it will proceed rain or shine. The capacity is 50 participants (first-come, first-served), conducted in 10 time slots of 20 minutes each. The fee is 500 yen (tax included), payable in cash on the day. Advance application via the website is required, with the application deadline on Friday, August 21, 2026 at 23:00. Same-day walk-ins are accepted, but prioritized for those with advance reservations.
