The 'Hirado Match-Kon? Machi-Kon,' held in Hirado City, Nagasaki Prefecture, is an event where you can enjoy both gourmet food and matchmaking at once, combining an all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink buffet visiting 2 famous local restaurants in Hirado with a party at a special venue overlooking the Hirado townscape and the sea. Participants will visit 2 restaurants randomly assigned on the day from among 4 locally beloved establishments, deepening connections while savoring buffet-style specialties at each venue. The process of walking through town to move between restaurants is designed to serve as an icebreaker. The finale will be held at a special party venue set up in the parking lot of the former site of the Eighteenth-Shinwa Bank Hirado Chuo Branch, where participants can further interact against the scenic backdrop of Hirado's townscape and ocean. This event is recommended for those seeking natural encounters in Hirado and the northern prefecture area, those who want casual fun rather than formal matchmaking, those wanting to participate with friends (up to 3 people of the same gender), and those who want to spend a special holiday locally. The schedule starts with reception at 14:00, followed by the first restaurant buffet at 15:00, the second restaurant buffet at 16:30, and the party at the special venue from 18:00. The participation fee with the final discount is 4,000 yen for women (regular 6,000 yen) and 8,000 yen for men; however, registration for men has reached capacity and is closed. Registration for women is open for the first 50 participants. The event is open to singles aged 20 and older, though up to 1 married person may participate only if accompanying an unmarried person. In case of stormy weather, it will be postponed to Saturday, September 19.
