IKI ZINE FES vol.3

About this event

Held on Iki Island in Nagasaki Prefecture, 'IKI ZINE FES vol.3' is an exhibition and sales event for ZINEs (self-published booklets) featuring approximately 140 exhibitors from across the nation. A diverse collection of individually created ZINEs gathers together, allowing visitors to browse and pick them up on the spot. At the event, talk events with special guests and workshops where you can experience ZINE creation are also planned. Workshops include printing bookmarks and business cards using a Showa-era 'Gari-ban' mimeograph printer, and a walk-in 'Beginner's ZINE Making Workshop'. In the Gari-ban experience, you can enjoy a nostalgic yet fresh experience where handwritten text and drawings are printed directly. In the Beginner's ZINE Making Workshop, even without artistic sense or prior knowledge, each person can freely create one ZINE on the spot by choosing a theme and binding method. You can enjoy creating while feeling the texture of the paper. A portion of the participation fees will be donated as relief funds or support funds for the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake.
