About this event
This concert by Sayuri Ishikawa is held as part of the 70th anniversary projects for the official confirmation of Minamata disease. It marks the 3rd time the organizing committee has staged this event, 48 years after the "Sayuri Ishikawa On Stage" was originally brought to fruition by the Young Patients' Association. In the lead-up to the concert, related events such as the "Big SUP Experience and Exchange Gathering" and the screening and talk event for the film "Our Town, Our Youth: Sayuri Ishikawa Sings with Passion in Minamata" were also held. On the concert day, an exhibition titled "Proof of My Life (tentative)" is scheduled to be held in the venue foyer. Two performances (day and evening) will take place, allowing guests to enjoy Sayuri Ishikawa's singing while experiencing the history and culture of Minamata.
