About this event
This is a major summer event held annually in the Uchinomaki district of Aso City, Kumamoto Prefecture. Held in a location rich in nature, the venue at Aso City General Center Multipurpose Plaza features rows of open-air stalls and events that children can enjoy. Musical performances and shows take place on stage, making it a festival to enjoy with family and friends. When viewed from within the lawn of the main venue, fireworks can be seen directly in front of you. In the event of stormy weather, only the fireworks will be postponed to 8:00 PM the following day. Approximately 2,000 fireworks will be launched, with the festival starting at 3:00 PM and the fireworks display enjoyable from 7:45 PM.
