DANCEHALL JOURNEY in Aso is Kyushu's only all-night open-air reggae festival, held at the Mazeno Republic Konose Camping Ground in Minamioguni Town, Aso District, Kumamoto Prefecture. In 2026, it will be held on Saturday, August 22, starting at 15:00 and running until 7:00 the following morning. At the venue, you can enjoy reggae music together with family and friends while camping. It is the perfect event to bring your tent, gather around the campfire, and create summer memories. The lineup includes artists such as NANJAMAN, KEN-U, ARARE, and BUSYKEN, sound systems such as JAH WORKS and YARZ, and dance showcases such as MIYO and BADASSBITCHES. Advance general tickets are 4,000 yen, and same-day tickets are 5,000 yen. High school students and younger can enter for free, but must be accompanied by a guardian. Bringing alcohol into the venue is prohibited, and many food and beverage stalls are scheduled to open. This event is in its 4th year and continues to power up every year.
