About this event
The "Adult Field Trip (Makubetsu Town Edition)" will be held, taking participants on a bus tour of food-themed facilities within Makubetsu Town, including the Ainu Cultural Exchange Center opening in autumn 2026. This will provide an opportunity to deepen understanding of the local history and industries and rediscover the charms of Makubetsu. A diverse array of facility visits is planned, including Tokachi Plain Distillery, Makubetsu Town School Lunch Center, Hokkaido Air Water Agri Tokachi Satsunai Plant, Ainu Cultural Exchange Center (with hands-on workshops), Fishway Observation Room Totoroad, and Makubetsu Strawberry Farm (strawberry picking experience). Lunch will be served at "Bimikan". Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes, and bring rain gear and writing utensils.
