About this event

The annual 'Harunire Yose' will be held again this year in Toyokoro Town, Hokkaido. This year's yose will feature a diverse lineup of traditional performing arts performers, including rakugo storytellers Miyaji Katsura and Kakehashi Shunputei, kodan storyteller Koju Kanda, and kamikiri paper-cutting artist Hachiraku Hayashiya. This event offers a rare opportunity to experience exceptional traditional performing arts, providing local residents and visitors with a wonderful chance to enjoy arts and culture. The venue is Harunire Hall in Toyokoro Town L-Yumekan, starting at 19:00 (doors open at 18:30). Admission fees are 1,000 yen (1,200 yen on the day) for town residents (general), 2,000 yen (2,500 yen on the day) for non-residents (general), 500 yen (700 yen on the day) for junior high school students and younger residing in the town, and 1,200 yen (1,500 yen on the day) for non-resident junior high school students and younger. Tickets are available at the Toyokoro Town Board of Education Secretariat (inside L-Yumekan), Toyokoro Town Library (weekends and holidays only), and Toyokoro Town Office Otsu Branch. All seats are unreserved, and preschool children must view from the parent-child seating area.
