About this event

With the theme "Now in Season! The Bounty of Toyokoro!", this festival lets visitors fully savor autumn in Toyokoro through sights, food, and fun. This year features a lavish lineup, including special limited sales of "Housui" pears from Soma City and "Keisui" pears & dried sweet potatoes from Chikusei City. Stage events include Japanese drumming by the Toyokoro Taiko troupe "Enyukai," a performance by the Toyokoro Junior High School Brass Band, street performances, and a grand stage show welcoming enka singer Kaori Kozai as a guest. The annual popular fresh autumn salmon sale from Otsu and the salmon-catching event are also scheduled, offering a packed schedule. Additionally, with rice cake and sweets tosses ("mochi & kashi-maki") offering chances to win local specialties, various specialty product sales, and food trucks, this signature harvest festival of Toyokoro Town is guaranteed to be greatly enjoyed by both children and adults.
