About this event
The "10th Tomioka Castle Festival", held in Reihoku Town, Kumamoto Prefecture, is a local festival set around Tomioka Castle. This year it will be held as the "Tomioka Castle Product Fair", where businesses and individuals from both inside and outside the town will set up stalls to sell food, drinks, sweets, local agricultural, forestry, and marine products, handmade sundries, crafts, and daily goods. In addition, service booths such as nail care and massage are planned. Last year, the venue bustled with approximately 2,600 visitors. Vendor fees differ between businesses within the town and outside the town, with preferential treatment for town businesses that provided sponsorship. On the day of the event, vendor preparations, reception, sales, cleanup, and dismantling will take place, and traffic restrictions will also be enforced. Vendors are requested to submit sales reports and questionnaires to serve as reference for future events.
