About this event

A collection of short plays created by Keiko Takano, a playwright and director from Hita City, depicting deep affection for Hita and human bonds. Set in familiar everyday life, three chuckle-inducing and heartwarming stories will be performed. The first, '78 Years Old, Celebrating Kiju', portrays the mixed emotions and misunderstandings within the Tamae family as they plan a birthday menu to celebrate grandmother Yone's 77th milestone (kiju) this year after failing to celebrate properly last year. The second, 'Let's Go! Onokohata', follows Ryuto, who returns to Hita and inherits the role of organizing the local sports festival from his father, discovering his awakening feelings for his hometown through interactions with junior high, high school students, and locals. The third, 'Lord of the Stickers', tells the story of how a sticker not found during a treasure hunt event 7 years ago suddenly skyrockets in value amid a sticker-trading craze, prompting elementary school kids to drag their older siblings into a hunt for the rare sticker. All are relatable, heartwarming stories extending from daily life, offering a truly fulfilling viewing experience.
