Usa City Minato Festival Fireworks Display

About this event

This is the main event of the first day of the Usa City Minato Festival, which is customarily held over 2 days. Fireworks are launched while lantern boats float on the water. This year, firework displays are scheduled for both days, lighting up the night sky with the prefecture's largest 2-shaku shells (approx. 60 cm shells) and about 3,100 fireworks launched from the sea. Kagura dedications will also take place, and various events such as sea parades and land & sea tug-of-war contests will be held over the 2 days. The surrounding area will feature diverse stalls offering drinks, alcohol, B-grade gourmet snacks, sweets, and toys, allowing visitors to enjoy food tours while strolling. Reserved square box seating (masu-seki, 3m x 3m) for firework viewing is available by reservation for 3,000 yen.
