About this event
At Aya Town Aeon Forest, tree-planting activities have been conducted since 2013 to restore the site cleared for the rebuilding of Aya Junior High School into its original satoyama woodlands. To date, 24,200 trees have been planted by 3,035 volunteers. This fiscal year, 2,000 trees will be planted with 200 volunteers. Botanical dyeing experiences and food hospitality are also scheduled, allowing participants to interact with familiar nature while contributing to the creation of rich satoyama woodlands connected to the future. Participation is free.
