About this event

Gokase Town will celebrate its 70th anniversary of municipal administration on August 1, Reiwa 8. To celebrate this memorable milestone together with town residents, reflect on the path traveled so far, and take a new step toward the future, a commemorative event titled 'GO! GO! GOKASE! 2026 - Discovering the New by Reviewing the Past: A Grand Moment Weaving History -' will be held. It is hoped to be an event where many people across generations visit and spend time full of smiles. For the event, a call for performers for stage attractions at the 70th anniversary commemorative event is also underway, and various performances regardless of genre, such as bands active in town and acoustic singing, are scheduled to be showcased. The scheduled performance time is Saturday, November 7, Reiwa 8, from 15:10 to 15:30, and it will take place on a special stage at G Park Sports Square. This event embodies the spirit of onko-chishin (discovering new things by studying the past), valuing the history and culture of Gokase Town while aiming for development into a new era.
