About this event
Held in Akune City, Kagoshima Prefecture, "Akune Onsen Festival 2026" is an event to express gratitude for the local resource of Akune Onsen and aim for its sustainable utilization. Organised by an executive committee composed of youth groups and other organisations in the city, this marks its 3rd edition. At the venue, stage events featuring performances, comedy acts, theater troupes, and artists will take place. "Water Spray Time" and "Splash Time," where visitors get soaking wet with Akune Onsen spring water, will also be held, allowing everyone to experience the hot spring with their entire body. Participants can bring towels and a change of clothes to fully enjoy the event.
