About this event
As an opportunity to reflect on the 'preciousness and importance of peace,' the Bansei Tokko Peace Museum will hold a special exhibition and recitation gathering. Last testaments and letters left to loved ones by special attack corps members and squadron members from the Kanto region (excluding Tokyo) will be introduced through special displays, talks by museum staff, and recitation sessions by recitation performers and high school students. Please come visit. The special exhibition is held from August 1 to August 31, with opening hours from 9:00 to 17:00 (admission until 16:30). Special talks by museum staff will be held every Sunday in August (10:30–11:00 and 13:30–14:00 each day). Admission is 310 yen for adults (high school students and above), 210 yen for elementary and junior high school students, and free for infants. The End of the War Memorial Day Recitation Gathering will be held on Saturday, August 15, with Part 1 from 10:30 to 12:00 and Part 2 from 13:30 to 15:00.
