About this event
The "17th Nakijin Festival" will be held in Nakijin Village, Okinawa Prefecture. The main venue is Nakijin Village General Athletic Park. As part of the event, an early morning health walk will be held on Sunday, August 23 starting at 6:30 AM. In addition, a call for exhibition entries including paintings, photography, calligraphy, crafts, folk arts, handicrafts, and flower arrangements is being conducted, with exhibition dates on Saturday, August 22 and Sunday, August 23 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A karaoke contest is also scheduled to be held, starting at 6:10 PM on Sunday, August 23. Eligible participants are village residents, people born in the village, or those working at companies within the village. Recruitment of vendor booths was also conducted.
