Held at Hasshoku Center in Hachinohe City, Aomori Prefecture, the Hasshoku Craft Exhibition is an event where visitors can not only browse and purchase craft items but also experience making them. It runs from October 9 to October 25, 2026, taking place in the Event Hall on the 1st floor of the Market Building. Of particular note are the craft-making workshops held on October 10, 11, 12, 16, 17, 18, 24, and 25. A wide variety of hands-on activities are available, including making kumiko woodwork mini standing screens, mini drawstring pouches, pottery wheel experiences, Yawata-uma horse painting, coaster weaving, accessory making, original glassware making, brass bangle making, and coaster/plate crafting. Each workshop has set capacities, fees, and required times, and some activities may require time before the finished products can be picked up. Participating exhibitors include Tsugaru Kanayamayaki, Hachinoheyaki, BUNACO, Yawata-uma, and various other craft artisans and workshops from within and outside Aomori Prefecture.
