About this event
The Shichinohe Lifelong Learning Festa 2026 will be held in Shichinohe Town, Aomori Prefecture. This event is an expanded development of the Shichinohe Town Citizens' Cultural Festival, packed with plans where everyone from children to adults can learn and interact while having fun. On the day, there will be stage performances and artwork exhibitions of culture and performing arts by local preschools, high schools, cultural organizations, and others. In addition, there will be lectures inviting notable figures, as well as a variety of hands-on experience booths such as crafting, art, sports, and drone piloting. In the kids' corner, visitors can enjoy inflatable play equipment and board games, while the Jomon corner will feature workshops, history lectures, and a collaborative exhibit between Futatsumori Shell Mound and Odaira Motoyama Ruins. On November 1, a health corner where visitors can experience health check measurements will also be set up, along with free servings of gibier (wild game) hot pot on a first-come, first-served basis (ending when supplies run out). Food and beverage stalls offering light meals and drinks will also be available, making it an event that can be fully enjoyed all day long. Please invite your family and friends and come join.
