"TAKKO MUSIC & CULTURE," held for the first time in Takko Town, Aomori Prefecture, is a one-day-only event where Takko's traditional performing arts and new forms of expression intersect. The venue is "Tapkop An Plaza," which is attractive in both its exterior and stage. Performers include Remon Nakanishi & Suzume no Tears, and from local Takko, the Nanyadoyara Preservation Society, Takko Kagura Preservation Society, SWING HAT JAZZ ORCHESTRA, and Yamato Yamazaki will appear. During the DJ time, DJ TAIJI will liven up the venue. Kyoko Omura will serve as the MC. For food, Shokudo Tongariboya, Yuguregumo, and Takko cafe will set up stalls, offering bento lunches, baked goods, coffee, sweets, and more. Advance tickets are 2,000 yen for adults (general) and 1,000 yen for junior high school students and younger; same-day tickets cost 500 yen more respectively. Preschool children are free of charge. Tickets are sold at the Takko Town Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Takko Garlic Center, Miroku-kan, and Kaneiri Museum Shop (1st floor of Hachinohe "Hacchi"), and web reservations via Peatix are also available. The organizer is the Takko Town Tourism Association (Music Festival Executive Committee), co-organized by Takko Town, with LLC imajimu in charge of planning and composition.
