Iwate Craft Beer Fest in Morioka 2026

Over the two days of Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4, 2026, "Iwate Craft Beer Fest in Morioka 2026" will be held in front of the Morioka History and Culture Museum in Morioka City. All 16 breweries in Iwate Prefecture will gather in one place, offering a diverse lineup of specialty craft beers ranging from flagship brews to limited editions. Last year's event was a great success, drawing an estimated 6,000 visitors over the two days. Held at a new venue and on an expanded scale this time, numerous food corners will open offering appealing gourmet food from all over the prefecture. The "Tasting Set" covering all breweries, which was popular last year, will also be sold, allowing visitors to fully savor pairings of craft beer and gourmet food. Admission to this event is free, and anyone can participate casually. There is no advance ticket sales; purchases can be made directly at each exhibitor booth on the day. Through this festival, the event aims to promote Iwate Prefecture as a major craft beer production hub, revitalize the local economy, and expand the visitor population.
