Idemitsu Ihatov Trial

Held in Fudai Village, Iwate Prefecture, the 'Idemitsu Ihatov Trial' is one of the world's largest trial motorcycle competitions, celebrating its milestone 50th edition this year. It will be held over 2 days from Saturday, August 29 to Sunday, August 30, 2026, across two venues: the Okunakayama Kogen venue and the Appi Kogen venue. Approximately 510 riders from all over Japan will gather to compete in thrilling trials set against Iwate's magnificent natural backdrop. The event also hosts a Parent-Child Motorcycle Class and a Kids' Adventure Trial concurrently, aiming to pass on the appeal of trial riding to the next generation and contribute to regional revitalization. To build excitement for the 50th memorial tournament, an early registration campaign was conducted with advance entries offering special benefits. The competition regulations have been published, and participants submitted their entries after carefully reviewing the contents. For past events, photo galleries were published, DVDs/Blu-rays were sold, and an official X (formerly Twitter) account was launched to promote and energize the tournament.
