On Sunday, September 20, and Monday (public holiday), September 21, 2026 (Reiwa 8), "GO PARK 2026 - Mizusawa Town Walking Festa -" will be held at Mizusawa Park in Oshu City, Iwate Prefecture. At this festival, you can enjoy a music event where 13 distinctive DJs gather to play top-tier music. Additionally, a craft beer and food market featuring breweries, wineries, and eateries from across the Tohoku region will be set up, allowing you to savor delicious gourmet foods. Furthermore, a limited-edition skateboard park will be established in Mizusawa Park for these days, where you can enjoy skating alongside guest riders. Three professional sports clubs—Iwate Big Bulls (basketball), Iwate Grulla Morioka (soccer), and Nippon Steel Kamaishi Seawaves (rugby)—will also participate and host their respective sports events. The costumed mascot of Oshu City's official character, "Oshutaro," will make its first appearance, making this an event packed with diverse activities.
