About this event
This is an experience where you cook rice in an earthenware pot using a shichirin charcoal grill with charcoal, which was once used as fuel for heating and cooking. While learning the process of how trees growing in the forest turn into charcoal, you can practice charcoal rice cooking methods that are also useful during emergencies. Welcoming charcoal burner Mr. Nobuhiko Sakauchi as the instructor, it provides a valuable opportunity to learn traditional wisdom and techniques. The participation fee is 800 yen for adults and 400 yen for elementary school students and younger, with a capacity of 15 participants. Advance reservation is required to participate in the event. Please note that the event may be cancelled in the event of severe weather.
