Held in Shizukuishi Town, Iwate Prefecture, "Shizukuishi Autumn Leaves Ropeway 2026" is an event where you can fully enjoy spectacular autumn views on an aerial stroll. You can ride the ropeway up to an elevation of 730 meters and enjoy the colorful gradation of autumn foliage. Near the summit station building, a dog run is also set up where dogs can play together, allowing you to create autumn memories with your family and pets. Early morning ropeway operations are also available, offering views of natural beauty such as seas of clouds and rainbows if conditions are met. The view from the ropeway presents autumn-exclusive scenery including the majestic Mt. Iwate, golden rural landscapes, and nearby townscapes. After descending the mountain, you can soothe your travel fatigue in the open-air hot spring bath at Shizukuishi Prince Hotel.
