About this event

This tour offers a hygge-like relaxing experience in the autumn of Kuzumaki Town, surrounded by colorful trees. It is aimed at people living outside Iwate Prefecture who are interested in living in Kuzumaki Town, dual-location living, or relocating to the Tohoku region or rural areas. It is a tour to get a feel for actual daily life and work centered around the town's key industries, helping participants envision their future life. On Day 1, after traveling to Kuzumaki Town, participants will have lunch at a roadside station, receive an overview of the town, tour the Iwate Kuzumaki Winery, and try tree bark craft-making. Afterwards, they will check in at the accommodation, Fureai Shokusha Greentage, and deepen exchanges with earlier relocators while enjoying a dinner made with local specialty wine, cheese, and Kuzumaki-produced ingredients. If the weather permits, stargazing can also be enjoyed. On Day 2, after a morning walk around the accommodation, participants will savor a barbecue lunch at Sodeyama Plateau. After that, they will tour the town area including schools, supermarkets, public facilities, and housing for relocators, followed by interacting with animals and shopping at Kuzumaki Plateau Farm. The tour concludes with a wrap-up session and disbands at Iwate-Numakunai Station. This tour provides an opportunity to experience rich nature, a fulfilling educational environment, delicious food ingredients, locally rooted culture, and warm interactions with local residents.
