At "Iwate Kuzumaki Wine" in Kuzumaki Town, Iwate Prefecture, the "19th Forest Harvest Festival" will be held over two days on Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4, 2026. Set amidst the rich nature of the Hiraniwa Highlands, this autumn harvest celebration allows visitors to enjoy the season's newly harvested Kuzumaki Wine nouveau, various wines and juices, as well as food pairings and live music. Admission is free, ensuring that designated drivers who do not drink alcohol and families with small children can participate with peace of mind. For convenient access, advance-reservation shuttle buses will operate from the Morioka and Hachinohe directions. In particular, a ceremony is scheduled around noon on Sunday, October 4, providing a special winery experience. Visitors can enjoy local wines crafted with mountain grapes (yamabudo)—a signature of Kuzumaki Town—paired foods, and pleasant music in the crisp autumn air.
