Roku Suganuma New Works Exhibition

Sculptor Roku Suganuma, born in Tokyo in 1946, graduated from the Nihon University College of Art in 1968, worked based in Kanagawa Prefecture and Hokkaido, and relocated to Towa-cho, Hanamaki City, Iwate Prefecture in 2000, where he has been active ever since. In this exhibition, he will present new works in which colorful, massive "shapes" fill the exhibition room. During the exhibition period, the outdoor work "Wind Ellipse" (Kaze no Daen) will also be installed in the South Plaza in front of the museum.
