Grand Tour of Working Airport Vehicles

About this event

As a special event for the "Chitose City Airport 100th Anniversary x Sky Day," special working vehicles and large machinery operating at the airport will be specially exhibited in the restricted area of New Chitose Airport, where the public normally cannot enter. This is a chance to view rare vehicles up close that can only be seen at the airport, such as fire engines and large snowplows. This event requires advance application and is open to 4th-grade elementary school students and older (elementary to high school students must be accompanied by a guardian). Participants cannot select their preferred time slot, but a 90-minute tour course is provided. If applications exceed capacity, a lottery will be held; participation is not permitted without a winning notification. On the day of the event, bringing items that could lead to fire, such as lighters and matches, and dangerous items such as knives, is strictly prohibited. In addition, umbrellas cannot be brought into the venue, so please bring a raincoat if necessary. The event may be photographed and filmed, and media may be used or published on official websites, SNS, and various printed materials.
