Held at Kanahebisui Shrine in Iwanuma City, Miyagi Prefecture, the "Kanahebisui Shrine Autumn Pilgrimage: Evening Reading Stage 'Kojiki'" is a special event where you can experience Japan's oldest book, the "Kojiki," through recitation and music. Frontline actors and voice actors will serve as readers, guiding the audience into the world of mythology alongside performances by ancient flute and wadaiko drum artists active overseas. Recitations will be performed by Yuki Ono on the first night, Kazuki Yao on the second night, and Hiroki Ino and Gaku Matsuda on the third night. Music will be handled by Toshinobu Hoshina and Atoa. (Norio Takahashi and Ryo Takahashi), and a special lecture on the "Kojiki" will also be given by Associate Professor Suguru Watanabe of Kokugakuin University. Writing and direction are handled by Fuminori Watanabe. With the divine atmosphere of Kanahebisui Shrine as its stage, this event allows visitors to deeply savor the ancient mythological world as a sensory reading drama uniting sound, narrative, and space. Admission is open to individuals aged 10 and older, and advance tickets are sold on the shrine's online platform.
