2026 Matsushima Industry Festival

The "2026 Matsushima Industry Festival" held in Matsushima Town, Miyagi Prefecture, is an event where agriculture, forestry, fishery, commerce, industry, and tourism operators in Matsushima Town gather together to sell local products directly. Seasonal agricultural products, seafood, domestic Japanese beef, mushrooms, okowa rice balls made with local ingredients, and more will be on sale. As with last year, it will be held concurrently with the "Matsushima Town Cultural and Tourism Exchange Festival", featuring numerous booths and exhibition corners throughout the venue. Delicious food and fun events are planned, including the opening ceremony (from 10:00), mochimaki rice cake throwing (1st session: after the opening ceremony, 2nd session: from 12:00), Matsushima Brand lottery (from 9:30), parent-child ring toss competition (registration starts at 10:30), and a generous rock-paper-scissors tournament (from 12:15). In the rock-paper-scissors tournament that all visitors can enjoy, gorgeous prizes will be awarded to those who win to the very end. The event may be cancelled in the event of severe weather.
