Rifu no Oka Orchard Pear Picking

Rifu no Oka Orchard will host the 2026 season pear picking. The period is scheduled from Saturday, September 12 to Monday (national holiday), October 12, with hours from 10:00 to 15:00 (final reception at 14:30). It is closed on Tuesdays and Fridays, but will be open if a Tuesday or Friday falls on a national holiday. Same-day tickets are 900 yen for 1 set of 2 picked pears, and the online booking fee is 800 yen for 1 set of 2 pears. Discounted online booking is recommended, allowing you to secure your pear-picking experience in advance. Detailed information such as items to bring for pear picking can also be checked. As of the end of July 2026, the growth of the pears was favorable, and delicious pears are expected. Besides pear picking, a "Farm Mini Tour & Open Day" is held on the morning of every 3rd Sunday, where you can enjoy a free 15-minute mini-lecture and farm tour under the pear trellises surrounded by nature to hear about seasonal work and pear varieties (excluding August and September). No reservation is required, and tea service is provided. Located at 1-10 Kase-aza-Ogashimadai, Rifu Town, car navigation systems may not display the exact location correctly, so searching on Google Maps is recommended. It is an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the pear orchard and learn about various tasks involved in growing pears.
