Minamisanriku Town Industry Fair

About this event

This is a regular autumn harvest festival where Minamisanriku Town's agriculture, forestry, fisheries, commerce, industry, and tourism unite to exhibit and sell local specialty products that the region takes pride in and introduce local industries. In addition to the sale of fresh local products, visitors can also enjoy local performing arts and stage events. At more than 30 outdoor booths, crafting experiences and food and drink menus unique to Minamisanriku will be offered, and at the adjacent indoor booths, PR for local companies and a quiz rally with chances to win luxurious prizes will be held. With performances of local traditional arts, displays of working vehicles, and exhibits from friendly towns and dispatching municipalities related to earthquake disaster reconstruction, visitors will be welcomed with a wide variety of programs. The customary mochimaki (rice cake scattering) tournament will also be held.
