Kanemori Train Festival 9

Held at the Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse in Hakodate, the Kanemori Train Festival 9 is a popular event that train enthusiasts as well as children and adults can enjoy. At the venue, a giant Plarail layout measuring 5 meters wide and 2 meters high by nationally active popular Plarailer Petazo-san and an L-gauge propulsion mechanism railway diorama by train builder Sekiyama-san will be featured. Visitors can enjoy the charm of railways up close while watching trains run through elaborately crafted dioramas. In addition, diorama exhibits by local N-gauge enthusiasts and sales of railway company and train-related merchandise are scheduled, offering an irresistible lineup for train lovers. Furthermore, Tsutecchi, the mascot character of Aomori Prefecture's Tsugaru Railway, will make an appearance to liven up the venue. A stamp rally will also be held for festival attendees, with original clear files presented to the first 1,000 visitors. At the simultaneously held Seikan Exchange Festa in Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse, visitors can also enjoy coloring pages and paper craft activities featuring the Hokkaido Shinkansen H5 series. It is an event in early autumn Hakodate where guests can fully immerse themselves in the world of trains and dioramas amidst a nostalgic atmosphere.
