Rice Harvesting Experience and Terraced Field New Crop Rice Tasting

This is an autumn agricultural experience event in the Takayama district of Shirataka Town, where you can harvest golden, ripened rice by hand. Through this rare and valuable experience, you can savor the joy of harvesting. After enjoying the rice harvest, participants will taste freshly harvested rice from terraced fields, make rice balls (onigiri), and participate in an imoni (taro and meat soup) gathering, fully enjoying autumn in Takayama. Whether coming with family, friends, or alone, anyone can easily join to experience the unique regional food culture while connecting with nature.
