The 28th Samegawa Fireworks Festival will be held as the grand finale of the Nakoso Summer Festival 2026, which lights up the hot summer in Iwaki. Approximately 2,000 fireworks illuminating the surface of the Same River will paint a colorful scenery across the night sky. Please enjoy the magnificent fireworks that brighten the summer night sky alongside the gentle murmuring of the river. Highly popular among many families, this event is a summer tradition in Nakoso that brings dance and fireworks together. Combined with the Iwaki Odori Nakoso Competition & Pedestrian Zone, it promises to be a day full of wonderful summer memories.
