Ena Town Marine Festival 2026

A two-day event, "Ena Town Marine Festival 2026," will be held at Ena Port in Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture, on Saturday, September 12, and Sunday, September 13, 2026. On the first day, Saturday the 12th, visitors can enjoy illuminated cruisers and a night hula show, as well as stalls from popular food trucks. On Sunday the 13th, there will be hands-on charcoal-grilling experiences for Pacific saury (sanma), an autumn delicacy of Iwaki (first 100 people per session, on a first-come, first-served basis), and recreational fishing boat rides. In addition, stage shows such as "Ena Yosakoi" and hula dancing are scheduled to liven up the venue. Furthermore, the "Billfish Tournament" will be held concurrently during the same period, offering a chance to see luxury cruisers gathering in pursuit of big-catch marlin and potentially see landed marlin. The event will proceed in light rain, but will be canceled in the case of stormy weather.
