Held in Kitakata City, Fukushima Prefecture, Takasato Terraced Rice Fields Walk Autumn 2026 is a round-trip walking event of approximately 5 kilometers exploring terraced rice fields, starting and finishing at the hot spring resort facility Fureai Land Takasato. From the course, participants can enjoy a panoramic view of the Kozuchiyama Terraced Rice Fields turned golden before harvesting, and on clear days, Mount Bandai can be seen in the distance. Along the route, warm hospitality is offered by local residents, and free samples of locally produced soba noodles can be enjoyed after reaching the goal. After the walk, you can soothe the day's fatigue in the natural hot springs of Fureai Land Takasato. The event also features sales of local products and a fun raffle, making it an attractive occasion to fully savor Kitakata's beautiful autumn scenery, food, and hot springs.
