2026 Soma City Children's Science Festival

About this event

Under the theme "What is Science?", the "2026 Soma City Children's Science Festival" will be held to allow visitors to experience the fun and appeal of science. Local companies, schools, and government administrations will unite to convey the fun of science through observing and experiencing experiments, handicrafts, planetarium screenings, and more. No advance registration is required, and anyone can easily participate. Various exhibiting organizations have prepared elaborate programs, making it an event where children and adults alike can deepen their interest in science. On the day, the festival will be held from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Sports Arena Soma Gymnasium 1 and Gymnasium 2. The opening ceremony will be held from 8:45 AM at Sports Arena Soma Gymnasium 2. Admission is free.
