Tamai Shrine Autumn Annual Festival (Tamai District 2 and 3 Joint Drum Float Parade)

Held every October in Otama Village, Fukushima Prefecture, this is a traditional event during the Tamai Shrine Autumn Annual Festival where the Taikodai (drum floats) of Tamai District 2 and District 3 are paraded jointly. This festival is known as a lively autumn tradition rooted in the community. The powerful hauling of the drum floats and the accompanying enthusiasm of the local residents inspire visitors. Furthermore, in fiscal year 2025 (Reiwa 7), it is scheduled to be held in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the merger of Otama Village, raising expectations for even greater excitement.
