A 2-day, 1-night monitor tour will be held in Otama Village, Fukushima Prefecture, where participants can experience rich nature and local resources with all five senses. Spreading across the foot of Mount Adatara—one of Japan's 100 Famous Mountains—this nature-rich village lets you enjoy beautiful scenery as a "grand countryside." The tour includes hands-on agricultural experiences savoring farm produce cultivated in fertile soil and pure groundwater originating from Mount Adatara. Through farming activities such as rice harvesting, visiting grape orchards, and tending vegetable fields, you can feel the abundant nature of Otama Village firsthand. Accommodations are cottages at "Forest Park Adatara," certified as a 5-star facility by the Japan Auto Camping Federation, where you can soothe your mind and body in free-flowing natural hot springs on-site. Dinner will be enjoyed with locals at a local restaurant, and lunch will feature a barbecue. Tour participants will contribute to enhancing the appeal of local resources by sharing the charms of Otama Village on social media and completing a survey. Open to participants of elementary school age and older (accompanied by a guardian), with applications requiring groups of 2 or 3 people. The tour starts at Tokyo Station, travels to Koriyama Station via the Tohoku Shinkansen, and tours Otama Village by chartered bus from there.
