Set at Iwase Farm in Kagamiishi Town, Iwase District, Fukushima Prefecture, the "Fukushima 2-Hour Endurance Mini Trail Ekiden Relay 2026 (Kagamiishi Town) in Iwase Farm" is a mini trail relay competition that tours the three regions of Fukushima Prefecture (Aizu, Nakadōri, and Hamadōri). Teams of 2 to a maximum of 5 members pass the sash (tasuki) and compete to see how many laps of the special course they can run within 2 hours. The Family Division can include preschoolers; when running, they must be accompanied by a guardian or someone aged 18 or older. The event features official timing and is open to all skill levels so beginners can participate with ease. Participation prizes are also prepared, making it an enjoyable event for women as well. The entry fee is 3,500 yen per person for adults (18 and older), and 2,500 yen per person for teams composed exclusively of elementary, junior high, and high school students.
