The Tomioka-Iwaki Fureai Festa 2026, held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, will feature various booths to entertain visitors. Event details can be found in the flyer enclosed with the September issue of the public relations bulletin. Because parking spaces and capacity are limited on the day, carpooling is recommended. The event may be canceled in case of bad weather, in which case an announcement will be posted on the official website. The event is also accepting submissions of handicrafts for the exhibition, with the application period running from Tuesday, September 1 to Friday, October 2. Submission counters are Tomioka Town Hall Iwaki Branch, Tomioka Town Social Welfare Council Iwaki Branch, Iwaki Taira Exchange Salon, and Iwaki Yotsukura Exchange Salon. Up to 5 works per person may be exhibited; multiple submissions must be brought in a case. Only works of transportable size are eligible, and participants are cautioned against submitting fragile items. A portion of the submitted works will also be displayed at the 40th Welfare Festival on November 7.
