About this event

Aiming to promote industries in Koga City and revitalize the region, the "27th Koga Yokanbe Festival" will be held on Saturday, November 7 and Sunday, November 8, 2026, at Koga Kubo Park (Koga Comprehensive Park). In this event, local businesses, organizations, and citizens unite to widely showcase Koga's attractions, promote cross-generational interaction, and revitalize the regional economy. It provides opportunities for children to experience the community while having fun, fostering interest and affection for the town of "Koga" through involvement in community activities and businesses. For stallholders and sponsor companies, it also serves as a venue to share their initiatives and aspirations, creating new connections with citizens. At the venue, exciting stage events and numerous food and game stalls will welcome visitors. Admission is free, but various paid programs (carnival games, hands-on activities, food/drinks) require separate fees. The event will proceed in light rain and be canceled in stormy weather. Temporary parking lots will be prepared around the venue, but because spaces are limited, the use of free shuttle buses and public transportation is recommended. Pets are allowed, but keeping them on a leash and following manners are required. While some food and drink booths accept cashless payments, it is recommended to have cash on hand as well. Strollers and wheelchairs are accessible, though some areas feature grass and gravel. Aiming for zero waste, the event introduces "reuse cups" used when serving alcoholic beverages. When returned to the Eco Station after use, the deposit will be refunded.
