NHK Nodo Jiman in Toride

The nationally popular program "NHK Nodo Jiman" is coming to Toride. Held at the Toride Civic Hall Main Hall on Sunday, November 8, 2026 (Reiwa 8), this event will broadcast the singing voices of local residents to the entire nation. On the day of the event, Yutaka Yamakawa and Yui Asaka will appear as guest artists, with announcer Kozo Takase hosting the show. The main broadcast will air live from 12:15 PM to 1:00 PM on NHK General TV, AM radio, FM radio, and international broadcasts. Simultaneous streaming and catch-up streaming will also be available on NHK's internet service "NHK ONE." Preliminary rounds will be held the day before, on Saturday, November 7, which can be viewed without prior application, though admission may be restricted depending on crowding. Both performers and audience members must apply via the NHK website; application deadlines are Tuesday, September 15 for performers and Tuesday, October 6 for audience members. As parking at the venue is limited, the use of public transportation is recommended.
