About this event
As an unveiling project for the representative gourmet items entered from Kawachi Town in the 'Shin Ibaraki Meshi Grand Election 2026,' the 'Townspeople Grand Tasting Event' will be held. At this event, town residents can actually taste two dishes: 'Gyo-gyotto! Gyoguette & Lotus Root Fries (Tokita Co., Ltd.),' entered in the General Dish Category, and 'Doo-natto? (Kawachi Yumeraku),' entered in the Sweets Category. Those who participate in the tasting and vote via the official Shin Ibaraki Meshi Grand Election website or X will receive a Kawachi-maru novelty gift. Take this opportunity to savor Kawachi Town's proud gourmet foods, vote for your favorite dish, and liven up the general election.
