The Tone Town Multicultural Coexistence Festival is an event featuring a variety of activities centered around Japanese speech presentations by foreign residents, hands-on Japanese cultural experiences, and workshops led by international students. On the day, hands-on corners will be set up where visitors can experience traditional Japanese culture such as ikebana (flower arrangement), tea ceremony, and kimono dressing. There will also be an exhibition of works written by international students describing topics like "Dreams I want to fulfill in Japan" and "Things that surprised me when I came to Japan," allowing visitors to deepen their understanding of different cultures through their perspectives. Stage performances featuring Japanese taiko drums and dances will liven up the venue. Furthermore, free chicken curry made with non-animal curry roux will be served (limited to 200 portions), and food trucks will be present so visitors can enjoy delicious food. With the cooperation of international students studying at Tone Town International Academy, Wellness Sports University Special Course, and Global Business College, this event will be a warm setting for intercultural exchange aimed at realizing a multicultural symbiotic society.
