Viehfest in Nasushiobara 2026 (Livestock Festival)

Scheduled to be held on Sunday, September 6, 2026, "Viehfest in Nasushiobara 2026 (Livestock Festival)" is an event organized by the Nasushiobara City Livestock Promotion Association. At the venue, free bite-sized tastings of Nasu Wagyu beef and sales of Nasu Wagyu beef skewers will take place, along with cow-milking simulations using model cows and other opportunities to interact with cattle. In addition, collaborations with JR Nasushiobara Station, servings of Minamiaizu sake in collaboration with Minamiaizu Town, and free shuttle bus operations in collaboration with JR Bus Kanto Co., Ltd. are planned. Furthermore, free distributions of blueberry saplings in cooperation with the Green Fund, as well as a milk carton recycling demonstration project, will be conducted. Past activities have included toasts with milk and various booth programs.
